Addressing
Modern Slavery and Human Rights
in a
Connected World

Compliance, Culture, Compassion

Today's interconnected global economy has led to calls for increased transparency and a growing focus on human rights.

Businesses leaders are striving to identify and respond to new opportunities, manage risks, deliver compliance and meet stakeholder needs in a way that makes sense now and in the future.

Responsible businesses make responsible decisions which deliver legal compliance, a positive culture and above all, compassion. Because preserving the dignity and rights of all, isn’t just ethical, it makes good business sense.

Making the ethical practical

The Ethitas approach has evolved over more than 20 years international business experience, working with organisations of all sizes across multiple sectors including Financial Services, FMCG, Energy and Engineering, Construction, Business Services, Defence, Retail, IT Services, Media as well as the public sector.

Whatever your challenge, we welcome a conversation. There’s nothing we love more than making sense of something that seems daunting and complex, then developing and delivering effective solutions.

We are collaborative in our approach.

We can be just as pragmatic as we are creative and innovative.

We are as comfortable supporting organisations at a strategic level as we are working at an operational level with front line workers and suppliers.

And although we deal with serious issues, we don’t take ourselves too seriously – we aim to develop positive relationships whilst ensuring that we deliver and make a real impact.

We combine our expertise in change management and capability development with hands-on technical experience to ensure that our approach provides solutions which are not just a ‘bolt-on’ to everyday activities but are embedded as an authentic part of the way you do business.

Pamela Zielinski, Managing Director

In a career that has included in-house roles with organisations including HSBC, Carillion, SSE and Diageo, I have developed significant experience in Human Resources, Sustainability and Human Rights.

As the founder and Managing Director of Ethitas, I have worked with a variety of clients, across a range of different projects in the public and private sectors. I am the prime consultant for Ethitas, building on my expertise in change and transformation to develop systemic and impactful approaches for organisations and their supply chains.

Where required, I draw on a strong and collaborative network of partner organisations for end-to-end solutions and scalable projects.

Pamela is one of those rare colleagues that offers the complete package of attributes necessary to make any business directors life easier – she has a comprehensive grasp of her subject matter; she is a leader that others are prepared to follow and trust when dealing with issues that they are not completely comfortable with; and finally, she is a task manager who GETS THE JOB DONE.

Pamela is a self starter who can be relied upon to exercise judgement and common sense to ensure the required outcome is achieved.

I have no hesitation in endorsing Pamela to any business leader who is seeking someone to make a contribution to improving their business; she is a pleasure to work with and someone you can be proud to call a colleague.

Pamela was an energising force, who inspired those around her through her professional and culturally sensitive approach to achieve challenging and transformational change.

What we do

We work with organisations in different ways. We develop and lead strategic projects as well as providing ad hoc support.

Sometimes, it is straightforward operational or supplier training, or perhaps a Board Presentation to build awareness.

Or it might be a longer term project; working with your business to conduct a gap analysis of current status then delivering an improvement plan.

We can help you to identify the next steps for your organisation and then support you to take them.
